Accelerated Data Concepts was founded in 2005 to commercialize the work started by the co-founders in their reconfigurable computing research at Franklin University, Columbus, OH. Their success at demonstrating the integration of FPGA acceleration to database technologies has spawn industry interest.
Accelerated Data Concepts Co-Founders:
Daryl Popig
Mr. Popig has worked as an Electronics engineer for various companies and specialized in both hardware and software development of systems using embedded microcontrollers and Field Programmable Logic Devices. Mr. Popig is a co-inventor of a US patent pertaining to microcontroller based “Intelligent” vehicle lighting systems. Mr. Popig holds a MS in Computer Science and a BS in Electronics Engineering both from Franklin University – Columbus. Daryl earned his AS in Electronics Technology from the DeVry Institute of Technology – Columbus. He leads the technical development of FPGA programming.
Debra Ryle
Ms. Ryle has spent over twenty five years working with Fortune 500 companies on application development projects, specializing in database technologies, systems engineering and project management. She holds a MS in Computer Science from Franklin University, a BA Degree in Liberal Arts from The Ohio State University and is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional). Debra provides consulting services for project management and application and database programming. |
